AFC Championship Game 3 pm eastern on CBS
- Chargers @ Patriots - Patriots
NFC Championship Game 6:30 pm eastern FOX
- Giants @ Packers - Packers
It gags me to say it, but yes, I think the Packers will go on the the Superbowl. I wouldn't have said that last week, before the Cowboys lost, but surprises happen in football - that's why they play the games, as Chris Berman likes to say. I thought for sure they'd be playing this game in Dallas, and losing. But at home against the Giants? Well, no matter how much I dislike him, Favre is the more experienced quarterback and Eli still plays like it's his rookie season. I think it'll be a replay of week 2.
It goes without saying that I believe the Patriots will be there in the Superbowl , but first they have to get past this grudge match with the Chargers. Grudge match indeed. The Chargers will be out for blood to avenge their loss last year to the Patriots in the playoffs, and they'll want to repay in kind by taking the Pats Superbowl hopes away. The Pats should be able to show them the difference between men and boys.

I agree. I think we're looking at a two-name designation Super Bowl: Green Bay and New England.
But the G-Men could do it. They've done pretty well, and Favre can always ... Favre on them.
I hope he does. :)
At this point, the NFC game is going into OT, and the Pack has won the toss. What's that, a 68% chance of winning? Looks like it will be a two-name designation Superbowl.
