NFL Football WK 9 2008 Picks UPDATES

UPDATES: Sunday Night -  *cries softly*  I was hoping … *wipes tears.*

Anyway, I really thought the Packers were going to be the team to finally take down the Titans.  No go!  They did take them to OT though.  I am only 7-6, and there’s one game to go this week.  A 50% score is not okay here people!  The Redskins MUST win for me!  And hey, have you ever heard that “legend” about the last ‘skins home game before a Presidential election?  I guess it goes that if they win, the incumbent party stays in power.  If they lose, the challenging party assumes power.  It worked out to be true for 17 Presidential elections, from 1936 until 2004, when they lost to the Packers, yet the Democrats didn’t win the election.  I love little story things like that.  :)  So if the ‘skins win on Monday, that means the Republicans maintain the White House.  (Go ‘skins!)  Had to mix politics and football!  ;)  Winning Tradition

UPDATES: Wow, I thought the Steelers – Redskins game was going to be a lot closer than that!  So now I’m 7-7, and I hate that!  Sigh.  I wonder if the “tradition” will be accurate this year again?  Season total – 79-51.  Crap!

  • NFC Division leaders in blue, AFC Division leaders in red.
  • Don’t forget Thursday night games start this week on the 6th!
  • Byes this week: Panthers, Saints, Chargers, 49ers
